My wife and I love western Arkansas, we lived there for four years. We road the twisting Pig Trail and mountain roads around Mena on our big V-twin Yamaha. We now live in the south Texas flatlands. I am mentally planning a trip back for a ride down many lanes. Great thought behind your post. Maybe I'll see you the next time we ease through Mena. And I have gone on many wrong roads. I learnt new roads too. And sometimes when I am on a crossroad in life, it's always very difficult to decide which is the correct path to take. I forgot that I could always seek for guidance from the higher being. Thanks for reminding me.J.C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10904882913688765735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182684097211815472.post-52842377165594134232008-12-04T13:26:00.000-06:002008-12-04T13:26:00.000-06:00LOVE the snow on your blog!!! Oddly enough I have so often found that if it is nor our time to go, whatever else may happen, we are spared or even sent back as I have been a number of times. The only true prayer ther is , is the Lord's Prayer, and the most impostant part is "Thy will be done", not what I would like or my family or for some friend to get well again. Pray to ease someones suffering, yes, but neither their recovery, no matter how dear they are to us, nor their passing is in our hands. Quite frankly, knowing nothing of divine providence I would not dare to go where angels fear to tread.
My husband and I love going along an unmade road too just because it is there, but nowadays we have a GPS.
Thanks for being a true friend and popping around to my blog.
Almost forgot, I do love your falling smow.Arijahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03720793296992474762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182684097211815472.post-81116057614202731492008-12-03T19:37:00.000-06:002008-12-03T19:37:00.000-06:00A thoughtful homily, Richard.
