Whenever Cynda and Dave come to visit, they bring their dog Sally with them. Sally is a beautiful yellow lab. She absolutely loves the water. It doesn't matter of it is a lake, a creek, a mud puddle, or just the water hose. If there is water she will be in it.
Thanksgiving Day Autumn and I went for a walk along Prairie Creek which runs behind my house. Of course Sally wanted to come. She had a great time splashing through the creek. Prairie Creek is a very small shallow creek. As we walked along with Sally splashing through the water, we came to a place where the creek deepened. It was deep enough for Sally to swim. She was so happy. She spent a half hour or more just swimming, then getting out and shaking on Autumn and I, and then swimming again. It was so much fun to watch her that I had to take a bit of video.
Friday as I was going through my pictures and putting some of them on my Flickr page I decided to put a couple of videos up on YouTube. I put on this one of Autumn running along the creek.
Next I decided to put on the video I had taken of Sally swimming in the creek. When you put a video on YouTube you have to give it a title. I decided to do an experiment. I titled the video Skinny Dipping. Immediately there were lots of hits. By the time I changed the title to Sally Swims in Prairie Creek, there were already almost 900 hits. The results of my experiment are a sad commentary on the internet and the people who use it. Here is the infamous Skinny Dipping video. I assure you that it is G rated.
Before the flood the Bible tells us that God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. I wonder what he sees now.
