Some weeks
ABC Wednesday can be a challenge. As I was looking through my pictures searching for some inspiration starting with the letter J, I ran across this photo of J's. I like to do what I call light painting, where I point the camera at a light source (in this case it was Christmas lights) and move the camera as the picture is taken.
Here are some more of my light painting photos
OMG! Way, super cool! I mean it! Awesome!

You're very creative! How did you get this idea? I try to keep my camera as still as possible if I want to take a shot of, for instance, the moon or a building decorated with a lot of lights, but I noticed that I'd better use a short shutter speed than a long one.
ReplyDeleteI take 'light painting' pictures too! I used to get them by accident and throw them away, until my Other Half, who'd been to art school, told me that some were beautiful and I should frame them. Now I take them deliberately when I see an opportunity. They're not as good as yours, though!
ReplyDeleteThose 'J's are great!
Absolutely fantastic! I love weddings, so I enjoyed reading all about yesterday's big day!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
